Chevere is starting to go to shows more than before. He was previously rather busy as father to Sarah's last litter and before that was gettig used to life in England. After all he left Cuba as a young pup and lived in Spain with Begoñia until he was approximately 10 months old because of pet passporting regulations.
He has won 9 CACIB, 13 CAC, 7BOB and 2 RBIG (as at 30 September 2003). His acheivement is all the more impressive when you consider that under FCI regulations the dogs may only start collecting points when they are 15 months old - he has earned these points in a mere 8 months. He is also handicapped by being black which make him harder to see against black matting found in indoor shows and by black being a relatively recently accepted colour for the breed.
