Crufts 2002

Sarah and Chiqui went to Crufts on Saturday 9 March 2002. As I've said earlier many many factors have conspired to keep us from going to Crufts in the past, weddings, chickenpox and now car trouble. Despite all of these problems we went. A splendid day was had by all, the atomsphere at Crufts has to be experienced to be believed, so many dogs, so many members of the public visiting.

We are so happy that Chiqui and her litter sister Miggy took the top two places in the largest class - a dream come true for any breeder. Sarah was shown with braids (to make a statement, if we need to tie hair away fropm their eyes lets not look like Shih Tzu's or Maltese's). She got second despite the wear and tear on the coat as a result of a natural, energetic and active outdoor lifestyle.

Congratulations to Miggy and her owner Mialee who put a lot of effort into going. Our continued thanks to Sally and Nick for all their help, support and friendship since breeding Sarah.
