Yesterday we drove out to have the puppies tested by Nina Bondarenko who is the Aussi Dog Guru who (amongst other things) selects dogs for training as assistance dogs. In order to select the right dogs she applies a test to ascertain the level of social dominance, noise sensitivity, independence etc. We work with Nina to determine which puppy is best suited to each family, for example, we try and avoid pairing more careful and affectionate puppies with families with boisterous children who would be better with more robust, playful puppies.
